Blackpool Mill, Pembrokeshire

The team at Towelrads were delighted to be approached to assist with the restoration of Blackpool Mill, a Georgian property in Pembrokeshire with a history spanning over 200 years.

A substantial £3m investment by Bluestone National Park Resort was agreed to preserve, restore and revitalise the historic building Blackpool Mill in small town Narberth, Pembrokeshire. Towelrads were approached to advise the availability of product which matched the aesthetic of a 19th century mill that had recently undergone an extensive renovation and it was at this point that the team introduced their range of Windsor column radiators.

Perfectly suited to the character of the property, the Windsor column radiators were selected in a range of RAL colours, each tailored to a specific area of the property. The radiators were supplied in an Anthracite RAL 7016 for the main restaurant and restrooms, a Pigeon Blue RAL 5014 for the private dining room and a Chocolate Brown RAL 8017 gloss for the miller study private dining area.

After being lovingly restored to its original architectural style, the restaurant opened its doors to guests again on 19th May 2023, providing a spectacular spots for guests to enjoy lunch over views of the River Cleddau and famous ornamental bridge.
