The Shard, London
The team at Modular Clay Products were thrilled to work on one of the most prestigious and architecturally interesting buildings in London's skyline, The Shard.
The Shard is one of the most striking and iconic buildings in London. Back in 2009, Modular Clay Products got involved with Design architect Renzo Piano and executive architect Adamson's Associates to assist them in their search for the perfect brick. Using their extensive partner network, the team were able to find a brick which met their requirements for durability, appearance, cost and sustainability. The final choice was a bespoke linear brick, alongside a number of special-shaped bricks.
